One of my favorite RV forums, Open Roads Singles, had a mini-rally when I was passing through Roseburg in September, 2005. It was held at Rising River RV Park - a great setting on the Umpqua River. |

I
was lucky enough to get the best site (#44) that fronts the river.
It's also unique in that it has utilities on both sides of the large
site, so you can either back in or head in. I loved how the river
filled my big motorhome windshield!

Here's
the Umpqua looking down the other side of the river - really a beautiful
setting and a great spot for a campfire on a chilly Fall evening.

This
shot shows the nice size of the pull-through sites on the middle
row. I also appreciated the fences between spaces.
