Spread the love

arizona-flagArizona is, of course, a popular snowbird state for RVers. Many flock here each year for the big show at Quartzsite.

Quartzsite - big tent

Every RVer has to experience that at least once in their RVing life, and that was in 2006 for me. That’s an overview of the Big Tent area, vendors and surrounding RVs that year. I’ve heard it’s even bigger now!

Grand Canyon & Me - July 2002

And of course, the Grand Canyon is one of the most popular tourist destinations of all time. I knew that before my first visit in 2002, but I didn’t truly “get it” until I stood at the edge of that massive beauty. I haven’t migrated all the older html pages to the new WordPress format yet, and those links will open in separate windows.

Sedona remains one of my favorite places on earth and even with all the pages I did about it, I don’t know if I’ll ever have time to share it all. That place is simply a marvel!

As always, some of my favorite things involve the state parks and nearby attractions, and I was lucky enough to be able to see several Arizona State Parks:

Superstition Mountains Sunset Glow

Lost Dutchman State Park – Superstition Mountains Sunset Glow

Dead Horse Ranch State Park – Me in Coopers Hawk loop

Loop B site 50

Catalina State Park – Me in Loop B

More state parks and attractions listed in the column on left.  I’d love to hear from you about your favorites in Comments below!
