Arizona is, of course, a popular snowbird state for RVers. Many flock here each year for the big show at Quartzsite, with the Grand Canyon being one of the most popular tourist destinations of all time.
My first visit was in 2002 and you can see the links to the left for the places I visited there then. I haven’t migrated all the older pages done in html to the new WordPress format yet, and those links will open in separate windows.
I totally enjoyed my time there in 2016, visiting some of the state parks and particularly the Sedona area and I still have a lot to write about that. I didn’t get nearly enough, so am heading back there in 2017.
I’ve started research on parks primarily in Apache Junction and Mesa at this point for a stay of about a month starting in mid to late February, 2017, then I’ll be headed back to Sedona. My mind is boggled by how many there are in these areas and the huge difference in prices! Here is a pdf I’ve prepared with what I have so far and I’d love to hear from you about your favorites in Comments below!
