February 2016 – I first heard about this park from another RVing friend who liked it so much, she ended up staying over a month. I was seeking better weather than the constant rain I’d been experiencing in Oregon, but I didn’t want to return to Yuma or Quartzsite and her pictures and weather reports for the area looked so great, I started heading over.
Note: I’ve been getting emails that their rates page I linked above is down and I understand they’re working on a new website, so just give them a call at number above or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Needles is on Historic Route 66 (the “Mother Road”).
The park sits on the banks of the Colorado River with a sandy swim beach. The river here is the dividing line between Arizona and California.
Boat slips available for rental; boat launch at no charge for people staying in the RV park or cabins. There is a fuel dock open from April – October.
Riverfront grills and picnic tables.
A great place to relax in the warm, bubbling Jacuzzi or have a refreshing dip in the pool. As a fulltime RVer, I always especially appreciate having a tub to soak in!
Street scene approaching the front.
