This is an easy .4 mile ADA accessible trail that can be entered from the rear campground or along the roadside leading to the campground. These kind of nature walks are always some of my favorite perks of staying at state parks.

I had such fun with my great-granddaughter, Cailie, on this walk. Wait for GG, Cailie!

We were sad that her sister, Cadence, wasn't feeling well that day and stayed in bed with her mommy. Next time, Cadence!

Thankfully, there were benches so GG could rest!
Cailie had never seen Cypress knees before!
Don't fall in, mon cheri - alligators in area!
Another outlet to the Boardwalk at other end of campground, continuing on alongside the road.
Further down the Boardwalk with stately Cypress trees along the banks of Tchefuncte River.
A view down the river.
