On the Pacific Coast Highway – U.S. 101
October 4, 2005 – On our Oregon-California Coast Trip, it took us four hours to drive the 50 miles from Gold Beach to Crescent City.
Again, we stopped at almost every viewpoint to take pictures of the wildly beautiful coast.
The waves crashing and washing like explosions over the craggy rocks and seastacks was as exciting to hear as it was to watch. The huge spray was really a special treat.
This cove was where we stopped to have lunch.
Right outside our door – what an appetizing view, huh?
Mom kept repeating herself – “I can’t believe I’m seeing something this beautiful!”
The Oregon/California coast is something that should be experienced at least once in every lifetime. Through the huge windshield of an RV, it is incomparable!
