My first experience of Wyoming came as I passed through on the way back from my big RV trip through Alaska in 2003.
That finally happened in 2015 when I returned to spend that summer exploring those wondrous national parks again, coming from the south this time, starting with Grand Teton National Park where both my motorhome and I were in heaven with those views!
Yellowstone National Park came next, and once again I was in awe from the spectacular other-worldly sights of that amazing landscape.
Beartooth Highway is certainly one of the most scenic and breathtaking drives I’ve ever been blessed enough to see!
Chief Joseph Scenic Highway has so many hairpin curves, it is not recommended for vehicles over 40′, so I’m glad I had my little Honda Fit to drive, and I took advantage of every viewpoint I could.
I saw a lot more in this glorious state and I share tons of pictures and info in the links to the right.
After all that, I headed into Montana for Glacier National Park, still my overall favorite.
I’d love to hear from you about your own Wyoming favorites in Comments below!
